Water
Conservation Tips
Your lawn only needs about one inch of water per week or roughly one
hour of sprinkling. A half hour twice a week is sufficient for your
lawn to remain looking sharp during the hot summer months.
Watering is best early in the mornings or early in the evenings as
there is less evaporation. Try to avoid watering late at night as it
may cause problems with fungus and mold.
Your lawn retains more moisture if it is mowed to about 1.5 to 2.0
inches (4 to 5 cm) in length, instead of shorter. |
